Cody LaRock
President & Founder
Building the future while honoring the past - that's the Indigenous Iron way.
Cody LaRock is the President and Founder of Indigenous Iron Construction, a 100% Indigenous-owned company grounded in Coast Salish values and teachings. A proud member of səlilwətaɬ Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Cody spent his early years in his late grandfather's community, Xwchíyò:m Cheam First Nation, and now resides with his family in Tsleil-Waututh Nation.
Mentored from a young age by his late grandfather, Cody carries a deep respect for Indigenous knowledge systems, particularly in land stewardship. These teachings guide his leadership and influence how Indigenous Iron Construction approaches its work—upholding integrity, environmental responsibility, and respect for community. His strong family connections throughout the Fraser Valley and Interior continue to shape his perspective and reinforce the cultural foundation of his decision-making.
Cody brings extensive experience in civil construction, environmental services, project management, and site development. His professional background reflects a long-standing commitment to strengthening Indigenous participation in the construction sector and advancing meaningful opportunities for Indigenous workers and communities.
Through Indigenous Iron Construction, Cody leads with a clear vision: to build responsibly, honour the land, and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
